FORMER LAKESIDE DRUMMERS. Congratulations to Emmanuel Deleon for winning the Individuals Contest on snare drum at the 2008 Drum Corps International competition. Emmanuel is now featured on the Pearl Percussion website and video of the competiton will soon follow. Emmanuel and another former Lakeside student Ricky Kostner ,who placed 6th in 2007 Individual Competition, toured this summer playing snare with the Santa Clara Vanguard drum and bugle corps.
