All 6th graders have been given ONE GREEN HOMEWORK FOLDER. One side is for the "TO DO" hw and the other side is for the "DONE" work that gets turned in to the teacher. All students should be keeping their HW in that ONE GREEN FOLDER.

5. www.classzone.com Website that correlates with science book!

Tuesday: HW: Finish 3 vocabulary notecards from class today. Students have words on half-sheet of paper. Use science textbook. Words: observation, experiment, hypothesis
Wednesday: HW: Study all 17 vocabulary note cards: test Friday

LANGUAGE ARTS:
1ST quarter projects are due: Tuesday, September 7th

Monday: HW: No School
Tuesday: HW: Work on Lesson 2 spelling contract: pgs 19-21. Due Friday. Include each word 3x, 10 sentences with compound nouns. Spelling test: Friday. Work on reading contract in selection support: pgs 11-14: Due Friday. Reading test on poems: "Dust of Storm", "My Picture-Gallery", and "Saying Yes": Friday. Continue working on typed autobiographies: due next Friday, September 24th.
Wednesday: HW: See Tuesday. Work on spelling contract and selection support: due Friday. Finish autobiography outlines from class today: due tomorrow
Thursday: HW: Finish spelling contract and reading selection support: due tomorrow. Reading Test: 3 poems and Spelling test: Lesson 2. Study Week 3 DOL: grammar test tomorrow
Friday: HW: Spelling Test: Lesson 2, Grammar Test: DOL week 3, Reading test: 3 poems of the week.
