All 6th graders have been given ONE orange homework folder. One side is for the "TO DO" hw and the other side is for the "DONE" work that gets turned in to the teacher. All students should be keeping their HW in that ONE ORANGE FOLDER.

1. www.answers.com Info about topics from encyclopedias, and other reference books.

2. www.infoplease.com facts; info. from dictionaries, almanacs,encyclopedias, etc.

3. http://ipl.org The internet public library..all kinds of stuff to research!

4. www.kidinfo.com collection of websites created by a teacher...organized by subject area.

5. www.classzone.com Website that correlates with science book!

All assignments in science subject to change throughout the week.

HW and Assignments:

2nd quarter projects are due: December 15th

* Directions, quidelines handed out : October 28th

* Solo or with a partner from their science class.

FYI: Camp K.E.E.P. permission slips were handed out Nov. 18th. Slips are due back by Dec. 19th to be eligible for the week-long trip.

Week of November 17th- November 21st

Monday: HW: Re-do bibliography mistakes if needed. All students should dedicated 20 minutes to their science fair project tonight. Progress reports given out today.

Tuesday: HW: Finish Ch. 6 / Section 3 study guide worksheet. Textbook a must for accuracy. Ch. 6 Test on Friday. Camp K.E.E.P. permission slips handed out today. Due back by Dec. 19th.

Wednesday: HW: Rock cycle project handed out in class today. Directions and an example handed out to students. Work on project as needed. Best projects will go up for extra credit. Project is due next Tuesday. Has your student turned in their K.E.E.P. permission slip yet??

Thursday: HW: Study for Chapter 6 Test that is tomorrow. Work on the rock cycle project if desired. K.E.E.P. slips in yet???

Friday: HW: Chapter 6 Test today. Rock Cycle projects due next Tuesday for 20 points
