Reading Week

March 1 - March 5

Theme - Olympics

Monday - Opening Ceremonies:

At 8:45 am each class will parade their class flag around the track.

Tuesday - Guest Reader Day:

Each class will have a commmunity guest reader.

Wednesday - Olympic Athlete Day/Family Day

Dress as an Olympic athlete or wear a sports shirt.

Families are invited to have lunch with their children.

(We will be unable to provide school lunches for families.)

Thursday - Marathon Reading Day

Students will read for a specified amount of time.

Friday - Patriotic Day/Author Day

Wear red, white, and blue.

Author Sam Renick will visit our school for assemblies.

Our school-wide reading goal for the week is 3000 books.  Bring in signed slips for each book you read and make Mr. Mullen and Mrs. McAdoo dress up as Uncle Sam and the Statue of Liberty.
