All About Mrs. White
Hi, my name is Mrs. White and I was born and raised in Bakersfield, California. I began my teaching career in 1986 after attending Columbia Christian College in Portland, Oregon. For the first four years of my teaching career I taught first grade at Sunrise Christian School. After this I taught sixth, seventh and eighth grades (History and Science) for one half a year at which point I was married and we were transfered to Houston, Texas. In Texas I was blessed to work at Clay Road Baptist School where I taught second grade for one year and then moved back to first grade and taught for two more years.
From 1994 to 2002 I took time off to be a stay home mom! When my daughter began kindergarten at Suburu I decided to be a substitute teacher. I found myself substitute teaching in kindergarten quite a bit and loved it! In 2006 I was hired to teach kindergarten. I love my job and my fellow colleagues.
During my time off I enjoy trips to the beach, photography and reading.
