Ms. SarahBell Frank

Science Teacher

I have had a long time passion for science which began when I was in grade school.  I have a Bacholers of Science degree in Natural Sciences with a concentration in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry. I entered the Veterinary Medicine profession and learned all I could from hands-on clinical and laboratory experiences. While working I volunteered instructing scouts as a merit badge counselor for many science related topics, from there I became a volunteer educator for a STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) based enrichment camp in Lamont. I am excited and enthusiastic to be your child's Science teacher this year.

I began camping and backpacking as a hobby, to enjoy with my kids. This hobby grew into a passion to educate others about the greatness and dangers in our wilderness, leading me to join on as a backpacking and wilderness survival guide for the Boy Scouts of America. I have so much more exploring to do, and one day hope to complete California's PCT (pacific crest trail).

Being a mother has taught me the most in life. I have many responsibilities for this role, but I honestly believe that the job of educating my own children is the most important (alongside with loving them). They will soon be on their own and I hope they look back and think of their mother as someone who taught them how to do their best and give it their all, at whatever it is they are doing.
