    7th Grade Social Studies

Welcome to the new school year here in Room 108. I have high expectations for all my students for the reason that they are young adults that are preparing to graduate junior high next year and will soon enter high school. My goal this year is that every student in my class will learn and analyze world historical events an succeed in his/her educational goals.

    Course Overview

Students in seventh grade will dicuss and study world history from the years 500-1789. Students will analyze the following main topics: Expansion & Fall of the Roman Empire, Spread of Islam, Sub-Saharan Civilizations of Africa, Medieval China, Medieval Japan, Medieval Europe, Renaissance, Reformation, Scientific Revolution, Enlightenment, Age of Exploration & Meso-America.
