Lakeside Traffic Signs - In Appreciation

We are thrilled to announce the successful installation of two state-of-the-art solar-powered radar traffic signs at Lakeside School, aimed at enhancing safety within our school zone. This remarkable initiative, spearheaded by Annika Jones, a distinguished Girl Scout Gold Award winner, marks a significant step forward in ensuring the well-being of our students and community members.

With the unwavering support and dedication of numerous individuals and organizations, this project has come to fruition. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who participated in the paint nights at Lakeside and Suburu Schools, contributing their time and creativity to this noble cause. Your involvement has truly made a difference and underscores the power of community collaboration.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to the Lakeside Booster Club, the School Board, and the County of Kern for their invaluable support and assistance throughout the project's development and implementation. It is through such collective efforts that we can create safer environments for our children to learn and grow.

These solar-powered radar traffic signs serve as a visible reminder to motorists to slow down and exercise caution in the school zone, prioritizing the safety of our students and pedestrians. Let us all remain vigilant and committed to promoting road safety within our community.

Once again, thank you to everyone involved in making this project a reality. Together, we are making a difference and fostering a safer environment for all.
